"PAUL FLORA" Themed exhibition in Reading room In the reading room of the Teßmann Library, we are showing a small selection of books about Paul Flora until the end of July 2022. Paul Flora, who would celebrate his 100th birthday on 29 June 2022, is one of the outstanding European draughtsmen of the 20th century. In his pictures, the artist, who was born in Glurns, created imaginative landscapes with idiosyncratic architecture. Ravens, witches, harlequins, rooted Tyroleans and Venetian plague doctors populate the cosmos of the draughtsman, graphic artist, illustrator and writer. Paul Flora published more than 30 books and portfolios, his numerous book illustrations, among others for the Diogenes publishing house in Zurich and his caricatures for "Die Zeit", "The Observer", "Du" and others made him internationally known. The books on display can all be borrowed. On our new Online Catalog’s home page you will find many more publications by and about Paul Flora.
