Themed exhibition in Reading room
Pasolini would have been 100 years old on 5th March this year. As a film director, writer and polemical intellectual, he shaped the debates of post-war Italy. He came to prominence with his novel 'Ragazzi di vita' (1955), set in the Roman suburbs. Pasolini ignored the boundaries between artistic disciplines and left behind a vast oeuvre consisting of novels, poems, short stories, critical writings, screenplays, and 23 films. He was found murdered in Ostia on 2nd November 1975.
In the Teßmann Library’s Reading room, a selection of books on Pasolini taken from our collection will be on display until the end of November 2022
. The exhibition is complemented by books on the History of Film in general.
The books can be taken on loan.
