Self check at the Teßmann Library

On 25th July 2022, the Teßmann Library will introduce self-check terminals for borrowing and returning media.
From this day on, you can use the terminal for automatic RETURN on the left at the entrance, which will recognise the media to be returned and sign them out of your library account.
Your reserved media will be made available to you in the HOLD SHELF, from where you can pick them up yourself for consultation in the Reading room or for use outside the Library. For a loan outside the Library, you can book the media at the terminal for automatic LOAN. To do this, log in with your Tessmann-Library card or your National Citizen Card (Health card). The machine recognises the media inserted automatically and books them in your user account.
After you have borrowed or returned the media, you will get a receipt that allows you to survey your borrowed media, their expiry date as well as their return.
