Pier Paolo Pasolini: 100 Years of P.P.P.
03.11.2022 - 30.11.2022
Themed exhibition in Reading room
Pasolini would have been 100 years old on 5th March this year. As a film director, writer and polemical intellectual, he shaped the debates of post-war Italy. He came to prominence with his novel 'Ragazzi di vita' (1955), set in the Roman suburbs. Pasolini ignored the boundaries between artistic disciplines and left behind a vast oeuvre consisting of novels, poems, short stories, critical writings, screenplays, and 23 films. He was found murdered in Ostia on 2nd November 1975.
In the Teßmann Library’s Reading room, a selection of books on Pasolini taken from our collection will be on display until the end of November 2022. The exhibition is complemented by books on the History of Film in general.
The books can be taken on loan.
