In March, the Reading Room will feature a curated selection of award-winning titles from 2025—books previously presented at the literary exhibition Bücherwelten im Waltherhaus.

They help readers navigate the vast landscape of contemporary publishing and provide access to remarkable works of world literature. In 2025, independent juries recognized authors and their books with awards covering a diverse spectrum—from stylistically outstanding works and inspiring nonfiction to books that simply offer the joy of a compelling read.

A selection of these award-winning titles is now on display in the Reading Room of the Provincial Library Dr. Friedrich Teßmann. Visitors are welcome to explore the collection on site until the end of March or to reserve books onlinefor borrowing.
