The Library card is free of charge and allows you to borrow items from our Library.
Where and how do I get a library card?
You can apply for the Library card either in person at the Library or by e-mail. To do so, fill in the Application form for Library and Internet Access ( German / Italian / Ladin)
and hand it in at the information desk or send a photo of the completed and signed form with a photo of a valid photo ID (identity card, passport, or driving licence) to firstname.lastname@example.org
. To borrow books you must be an Italian resident and be aged 13 years or over. Non-residents also need to bring a permit of residence.
You can also get your Teßmann-Library card in all libraries participating in the South Tyrolean Interlibrary Loan: Brixen, Bruneck, Eppan, Leifers (Don Bosco Library), Mals, Meran, Neumarkt (Bibliothek im Ballhaus and Endidae Library), Sand in Taufers, Sankt Ulrich, Schlanders, Sterzing and Toblach.

Loss of your library card
For your own protection, immediately report the loss of your Library card at the information desk. We will block the card to prevent unauthorised borrowing. You will obtain a new Library card against payment of a fee.

Please report any change of address or e-mail address so that our messages can be effectively delivered to you.
